Daddy-Dear, for staying at work until after 1 a.m. finishing up work for an FDA audit, received two Jazz tickets for his hard work--two very nice Jazz tickets--Row 19!! Since he doesn't care for crowds or noise, he gave the tickets to me and I took Brant for a ten-day-early V-Day activity. :)
Brant's mom was jealous because the Jazz were playing the New Orleans Hornets and they used to live in New Orleans. We kept ahead most of the game, although there were some tight spots. We finally won, 109:88. It was a lot of fun watching Kyle Korver make how many 3-pointers ?? Ah yes, SIX, and then some two pointers, also. (He's the one from Australia that looks like Ashton Kutcher.) At half time we had luke-warm Papa John's pizza never would have tasted so good had we not been hearing a far-too-into-it guy behind us yelling at the players, watching a guy in Brant's ward entertain the crowd during lulls (he's a DJ) and sitting next to each other. ;)
I strongly recommend the ninteenth row to anyone--it's close enough to see the players, far enough not to see [or get splashed by] their sweat.
